Our Wedding day - Jan 2, 2001 - Needs updated scanned photos

We started our new life together by getting married/sealed in the Denver, Colorado temple.
It was a lovely, warm day. January 2, 2001.

Mr. and Mrs, Smith

We felt such a great outpouring of love from all who were there to support us!

After the temple we had a luncheon for family and close friends.  Many lovely thoughts were shared by both the father of the groom and of the bride.

Seated at this table are the LaCoutures - Clark, Chantelle, Cary, Karen, Travis (and his mom), Regan and Katie.

In the evening we had a reception at the Parkside Mansion in Denver.
Loma Alacala made our wedding cake.

Jennifer and Annie were my matrons of honor.  Katie, Kathy, Christina, and Catherine were my bridesmaids.  Hannah, Emma, and Roseanna were my flower girls.  Regan and Travis were Matthew's groomsmen.  Carson and Helaman were his ring bearers.

The gift basket in Matt's hand was particularly thoughtful. It was full of fruits, crackers, cocoa, and a cooler with meats and cheeses for little snacks to enjoy throughout our honeymoon.  It was perfect!

The getaway car, decorated and filled with balloons.

And we were off!  We stayed in Denver the first night at a bed and breakfast and then traveled through Durango and Manti on our way back to Provo to start our next semester at BYU.
