On Labor Day we hit the outdoor pool for one last time and had a family picnic.
We had a break in our water line in the front yard. We were able to get it fixed and the man doing the work was so nice! He invited Christian to sit in his digger after he had completed the repair. Christian loved it! I love nice people!
Christian has found a new friend at preschool! Luke and Christian are 2 peas in a pod! They have such a fun time playing together!
Sterling and I got the opportunity to attend a Piano Guys Concert here in Columbus. It was a really entertaining show. I felt so happy watching Sterling's excitement. I don't know when I've seen him so thrilled and excited to experience something. I love one on one time with my kids, especially when it's so inspiring and uplifting. I love to be with Sterling because he is always kind and considerate of my feelings. I knew it would be especially good for him since he has started learning to play the cello at school in addition to his piano lessons with me. It was a perfect evening!
Christian has picked up his preschool movement class at the dance studio again on Fridays. Here are some cute crafts he has made.
Matt has been working on our tree house during our time here in Columbus. This month he was able to add a slide. He and Sterling had some quality time together assembling and attaching it.
Christian and I enjoy reading together on most days. I cherish the time I have with him at home. There are some of the happiest moments of my day.
We also went to lunch together this month.
Surprise Surprise! We had more baby bunnies born this month.
Sheri joined Sterling in playing soccer this year (not on the same team of course). She has really enjoyed it!
We had a great time with the Fackrells boating and watching a BYU game together. They have been so much fun to be with here in Ohio.
The biggest highlight this month was Christian's birthday. The Thomas family made him feel extra special by bringing him muffins and a special birthday banner. They are so good to us!
Christian opened his grandparent presents gifts in the morning.
As well as a gift from Sheri.
We had a Lightning McQueen birthday party again this year. He just preferred that theme to all the others. Christian got to have a "friend" party this year, so it was extra fun for him. We had races, a pinata, snacks, presents, and cake.
We adore this boy so much! He is full of personality and sweetness! We are so grateful for him in our family!
