Crazy Kids!
I love his sweet and contagious smile!
In the middle of all the slipping and sliding, the tractor came out in the field behind us. My awesome friend Kristen was brave enough to ask if the birthday boy could go for a ride. Now THAT is special treatment! Aren't my friends wonderful?
Then it was presents time.
A sling shot with water ballons.
Money . . .Oh yeah!
Star Wars action figure - SWEET!
A set of really cute books that my kids really enjoy!
And a Yoda light saber that lights up and makes cool sounds when you use it.
Sterling also got a new Toy Story Leapster game. Sterling used all his birthday money (thank you Grandma Bonnie, and Grandpa John) for a new Wii game - Super Mario Brothers. He likes to play whenever he gets a chance. I like to limit it whenever I get a chance :) Overall we strike a good balance, I think. Even Eve enjoys playing and it is nice that Sterling has someone to play it with when friends aren't over.
And finally, the cake. I designed the cake from the drawing you see here.
What a great day! What a great boy! I would like to share a few little things about Sterling here so that I can record them.
Sterling is a very loving and thoughtful boy. He loves to share when he gets some little treat, to show he loves me. He tries to make Sheri laugh when she is sad or he gives her a hug. Sterling is generally easy going and happy! He is great to snuggle with! Sterling is smart and is good at figuring things out! We are so lucky to have him in our family!
