March was a great month! Here are some highlights.
We celebrated St Patrick's Day. Check out our eggs from our hens (the green ones)!
Our tradition of green pancakes with rainbow fruit.
We decided to go up to the mountains to enjoy the snow since we really haven't had the chance all winter. We built this fort for our snowball fight.
And of course we built a snowman.
We had lots of fun tubing!
The older kids were able to start attending in person school 2 days per week. I wasn't able to get a photo of Sheri on her first day back, but I got these two.
We celebrated Matt's birthday.
I made strawberry lemon cake from scratch.
Sheri hit a major milestone when she was able to get her first pair of pointe shoes!
We are so happy for her!
We got chicks for Matt's work community garden area.
We had to nurse some of them through the first few days.
The high school started to allow outdoor sports. This was one of 2 football games that the band was able to play at.
We had a group game night which felt great after everyone being so isolated due to Covid. Attending were the Laras, the Hamiltons, the Martins, and the Hershbergers/Larsens.
Here are some other fun photos from the month.
Christian and Rascal
An evening at the arcade with the Weatherbees, Aaron Yniques, and Landon Tilby.
Lemon pie that I made. One type had traditional crust, and one had graham cracker crust. It turned out so delicious!
Our spring garden
Sunday naps
Yard beauty
And here is a video of Christian on the rings at gymnastics.
March felt abundant.
We had lots of fun, friends, delicious food, and beauties of nature around us.
We are grateful for all that we are blessed with!
