Christian turns 2 years old!

My sweet baby boy is 2 years old! I surely adore Christian! Each morning he brings a smile to my face and a feeling of pure joy when I give him a hug. I love to kiss his soft cheeks. Each day he learns to say more words and do new new things. He is still very tall (in the 95 percentile) and his weight is increasing. He is very healthy for which I am grateful! He sings along when I sing Primary songs. His favorites are "Oh what do you do in the Summer Time", "I am a Child of God",and the alphabet song. He has started to count, saying "2, 3, 4, 2, 3", sometimes he will even say "10" if you count that high. At nap time, he never wants to stop reading books. He loves make animal sounds, play doggie with the kids, and almost always has 2 or 3 cars in his hands. He is very good at telling me what he needs: "nack" for snack, "gunk" for drink, "duce" for juice, "cany" for candy and "airplane" any time he hears or sees an airplane flying by. He has also learned to tell his siblings "no" when they are not doing what he wants them to do. He also usually follows "no" by a long lecture of unintelligible works while gesturing exactly how he feels. His vocabulary is getting quite amazing. We love his bright smile, and heart melting laugh. He is starting to act more stubborn at times, but I suppose that is healthy too. :)

Here are some recent pictures.

Here Christian is playing with Camden, our close friends' 3 year old.

Next, some birthday pics.

One final thing I want to record is that Christian loves to climb in bed with Sterling or Sheri at night before I take him to bed. I am sure that he will love to share a room with Sterling in the future. He never wants the fun to end. It is always sad to take him away when he is so snuggly and happy.

Christian is such a joy to us! We are so grateful for sweet little Christian!
