We flew home from our vacation on July 6th. There is nothing quite like the majesty of the view from the plane window.
But of course we also love our own yard natural beauties.
On Friday, July 10th Mike and Taralie came to visit since they were in CA visiting other family. We enjoyed swimming, playing games, and exploring the coast south of Monterey in Garrapata State Park.
We had a great time with them and loved having them with us!
After all this fun we were glad to get some rest.

Sheri made this birthday cake for me. She loves to help me in the kitchen, which I love!

Lots of fig picking and baking/canning/dehydrating
