November has been an abundant month, full of wonderful things!
We kicked off November with Sterling and Sheri performing in "Maud," the play they have been working on in theatre at school.
Sterling played Maud's husband who is suspected of killing his wife and Sheri played one of the town gossips.
I love seeing these two on stage together! They did an excellent job!
In addition to theatre Sterling has been attending debate competitions and has done very well! Here he is with friends at one competition between events.
Sterling and Christian continue gymnastics. Here are some of their skills.
Handstand walks
Reverse handstand walks, first tries.
Wheel barrow races- they smoked 'em!

Christian has been enjoying basketball, with one practice each week as well as a game or two on Saturdays. He has really grown this season!
Sheri has been ramping up Nutcracker rehearsals and I have been volunteering as part of the Lonestar Ballet Guild. One volunteer opportunity was at the annual Nutcracker Ball. Sheri and I got to help sell at the Nutcracker booth, dress up, and eat a special catered dinner. It was a lot of fun!
This month I have also stayed busy with community projects, attending 2 ward conferences, a general YW training and presidency meeting, attending the Amarillo Annual Prayer Breakfast with guests from other charitable/community organizations, setting up the Salvation Army Angel Tree for our building, a few days of substitute teaching, book club, feeding the missionaries, a RS Thanksgiving dinner, a stake youth meeting and a youth fireside. I also worked on canning all the tomatoes from our garden.
As Thanksgiving drew near I was able to go to a Thanksgiving lunch with Christian at school. He is such a sweetheart and always loves to see me at school!
Meanwhile Eve has been busy at school. Here are some of her highlights.
Eve has been working hard in her Chemistry and Biogeochemistry classes as well as her history and religion classes. The class she has enjoyed the most is Polynesian Dance. She participated in the Luau and put in lots of rehearsal time. She loved experiencing the culture again and making new friends.
She has had lots of fun with her roommates and especially loved attending a ball with Sabey.
She also enjoyed attending the Orem open house with her cousins.
We were happy to have Eve fly in to spend Thanksgiving break with us! We were all ready for a little break from the busyness. It's so good to be back together!
We drove to Colorado for Thanksgiving and loved all the special family time!
We loved meeting little Alice Rose! She is an angel!
The happiest surprise of the trip was when we learned that Cat and Aaron are expecting another baby! We are so thrilled for them!
All of the food was absolutely delicious!
We loved getting together for pie at Hannah's,
...and Karaoke at the Robinson's!
I also loved going to the temple!
We enjoyed relaxing at my parents' house and appreciate all they do in hosting us!
We are as blessed as we can be! We feel such gratitude for all our time with family, our safety, our opportunities for growth and development, and for the peace that comes through the teachings of Jesus Christ and his gospel!
