We have had some snow this week (and ice) which resulted in school cancelations almost the entire week long. We are definately not in Colorado anymore. The ice is not quite as common in Colorado and neither are cancellations for incliment weather as frequent. I am not complaining, but we were glad to get out when the sun came out a bit. We also had a great time sledding. My kids don't usually last too long when it is cold but even the little ones enjoyed sledding for quite a while. The Owens have a perfect sledding hill!

Welcome February
I have to thank my mother for always noticing that fresh snow on the landscape makes everything look like it is covered in lace. What a beautiful image around Valentine's Day!

January Fun
January was a busy month for us! Ater Hawaii we got back into the routine but also had some fun. Here are just a few highlights:
The Klondike:
Matt accompanied the boy scouts on their Klondike campout. They were able to use the sled that they worked hard on. It was a success I think.

On Saturday, January 29th Matt spent the morning and early afternoon with the kids making an igloo. This was especially awesome because it gave me some quiet time to finish preparing my talk for Sunday. Check this out!

Another exciting highlight for January is that Sheri has been proactively using the potty! I think this is a tender mercy from above. Anyway, I hope you aren't scandalized by this photo, but I couldn't resist.

Here are a few other fun photos.
Going to church.

Finding Sheri.

This is brunch for my wonderful friend Jana on her birthday!

Can you believe January is gone already?
