Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we enjoyed the parade in town and then spent a fun day with friends BBQ-ing and playing games. Here are some pics.

Sheri Turns 3

For Sheri's birthday this year I decided to go with a fish theme. Sheri wanted to have Swedish Fish on her birthday cake and it evolved from there. We played pin the tail on the fish, fish for gold fish, and go fish. We gave her a sandbox and a small blow up pool for her presents. We enjoyed having all our friends to help us celebrate!

Big Truck Day

Our community has lots of great events for families, as I am sure you may have noticed. During May our local park hosted Big Truck Day where there were lots of different types of large trucks. There were tractors, a fire engine, an armored police vehicle, and a bus to name a few. Here are some highlights.

Young Authors -Regional

I wanted to share a few pics from the Young Authors conference (regionals) held in May. Eve enjoyed the experience and was able to meet an author who spoke about her experiences becoming a published writer and about the children's literature she wrote. Eve also had some smaller class time with other kids her age. She even had a friend from church who also attended. It was a great day!
