March and April 2014

There is not too much that is new in our lives. We carry on with the normal routines. Here are some highlights for March and April.

March

Taking the kids to Coco Keys using a Groupon deal I found. The water was chilly for Christian but he soon enjoyed exploring without getting too wet.

We had a Relief Society dinner to commemorate the birthday of this wonderful organization!

We went to the Zoo with the Bradshaws!

We celebrated my sweetheart's birthday. I am so grateful for my best friend and hero every day! Here he is opening presents and being funny with the kids' presents.

Matt got a new car since his old "Silver Bullet" finally kicked the bucket. And I got a new dress (at least this was my first time wearing it).

And finally, a few random pics of cuteness.

April

In April, Sterling got to take a class with the "Grand Master" of Tae Kwon Do. He wasn't able to participate in the tournament because he had a soccer game at the same time the following day.

Matt took the girls to the Daddy daughter dance and they also went to Red Robin following.

For Eve's birthday the girls went to lunch, shopping, and got manicures or pedicures. We had a nice day. I remembered how hard it can be to bring kids shopping with you. :) Overall it was a fun time and I am sure that this is just the beginning to fun with my girls.

We also celebrated with cake and gifts from grandparents on the actual day. Wow, can you believe she is 10?

Here are some random cute pics again

Easter was truly lovely! I put a little more effort into decorating this year and my tulips came up for the first time. The Owens came to visit us and we enjoyed egg dying, an egg hunt, the temple, the traditional Easter dinner, games and Easter baskets.

Here are some of the decorations. More tulips have come up since, but how nice to have a few in bloom for Easter! Also, thanks to my mother in law for the darling spring plates!

Here we are egg dying.

And although it wasn't very warm, the kids insisted on running through the sprinklers.

And finally, Easter morning

I am so grateful for such wonderful friends and family, Spring, and most of all, the gospel of Jesus Christ that allows me to have joy and peace in this life and through eternity!
