NUTCRACKER 2025
Nutcracker week is one of the most wonderful weeks of the year! There are so many beautiful highlights, so many happy moments, so many fun friendships, and so many unforgettable memories made! Sheri had an incredible Senior Nutcracker experience!
Theater week is such a busy, fun, thrilling time!

Rehearsing on stage
On Thursday and Friday mornings I loved helping out at the school shows.
Sheri performed the Spanish lead as her main part (Green Cast). She was also a Spanish attendant and a demi- soloist in Waltz of the Flowers (in the Red cast). In both casts she danced in the Snow Corps and Waltz Corps.
The dancing was lovely! The sets were beautiful! The live music was thrilling. Sheri had excellent stage presence, and did amazingly, especially considering she was only 3 weeks post appendectomy!
Sheri has made so many cherished friendships through dance!
Here she is with some of her students at the beginning of the week.
This little sweetie was also her snow angel.
She loved partnering with Davel!

She had such a fun costume!
Sheri had many friends from the ward that came to see her. Here she is with Cammy Brown and Ellyn Porter with their kids. Others that came from the ward were Mindy Smith, Maddie Tolleson, Lindsey Duncan, Kacy Koehler, Jodi and Jeff Foster, The Lowe family, and some of the Cantrell and Lumpkin families.
Many of her school and church YW friends came as well.
We were so happy that our families were able to come from Colorado and Utah to see Sheri's senior Nutcracker. Wendy arrived on Thursday, the 11th. My parents, Jen, Scott, Eleanor, Clara and Eve arrived on Friday the 12th.
We were delighted that Eve could come home to be here for this special occasion! She was even able to finish her final tests and projects from home.
Of course, the sad part is seeing it all end, even after 8 shows in 4 days!
From soaking sore feet back stage, to final bows, hugs, and photos, Nutcracker is an unforgettable experience!
