Monday evening we went swimming at my gym which we all enjoyed.
Tuesday we went to the Science Center and saw the Sea Rex movie and also the Grossology exhibit about yucky things our bodies do and why. I was a bit underwhelmed with the exhibit but I think overall we had a good time.
About Digestion:
Going in the Mouth
Arriving in the Stomach
Coming out the colon, yuck!
Wednesday we went to the St Louis Arch and the Museum for Westward Expansion.
Wednesday was also Matthew's birthday! We had candles, cake and ice cream.
I am so grateful that Matt is mine!
Thursday we stayed local. We started at the visitor's center in town and then went to the Lock and Dam. The museum that explained the lock and dam as well as the bird sanctuary were very interesting and fun for me. I always love to learn more about things! Then we headed up the river road and went to another visitor's center. It was cool because we were able to see a mother eagle sitting on her nest of eggs via live camera. The kids also enjoyed seeing the stuffed animals.
In the evening we went out to pizza and then to see the temple.
Friday morning Catherine and Aaron flew back to Denver. We were sad to see them go and we are excited to see them again this summer. We really enjoyed the chance to catch up and get to know Aaron better. Thanks, Cat and Aaron for making this special trip out to see us! We love you guys!
P.S. - Look at the cool puzzle everyone put together while they were here.
