Scripture Stories on Stage

In June, our ward activity was hosted by the Primary Organization. We decided to have scripture stories acted out on stage. Participation was voluntary and the activity was planned fairly quickly. Although we would have loved more participation, we had a great time!

Here are a few pics:

Noah's Ark:
Noah-

Animals coming in twos-

Noah and his family enter the ark.

Moral - Follow the Prophet

Next we have Daniel and the Lions Den:

Daniel was favored of the king.

Conspiring Priests set up a law that no one can ask anything unless it is to the king.

Daniel prays anyway.

After Daniel is thrown into the den, an angel calms the lions and they do not eat Daniel.

The lions lose their breakfast.

Daniel is made ruler over many things and the bad priests are thrown into the lion's den. (no picture- but it was cute!)

Moral - Trust in God.

There was a skit about Elisha and the 2 she bears. It was quite an entertaining one to watch, but I missed pics for it. You'll have to go back and read it. It is one I had never heard before.

Moral - Don't make fun of the prophet or you might get eaten by bears :)

The final skit was David and Goliath. Of course it was awesome because the Corless family did it. Check out these pics.

Moral - With God, all things are possible. We can trust Him.

Can you tell the kids enjoyed it?

To wrap up the activity we had ice cream sundaes. It was a fun activity! I really appreciated everyone that participated!
